We do not hold puppies longer than 1 week. If you are needing extra time before bringing your puppy home, unfortunately there will be a $100 per week charge. The $100 per week will cover your puppies food, care and a new vet visit. We sincerely hope you understand.

Meet our beautiful Alvin, he is such a sweetie pie. I gave them bathes and then they sit and get blow dried. Then they all run crazy for about 30 minutes and then I get my camera out and try to take the perfect picture. Ha, that is such a hard thing to do with puppies. This litter is almost 12 weeks old and they are trained to a doggy door to go outside. They love to play with small stuffed toys and Easter eggs. They can roll them eggs everywhere.

Lane is such a cutie and the samllest of the litter. I discovered today that he has a eye issue so he needs to go back to the vet on Monday. So please do not reserve him untill i get it checked out. Puppies can play so rough. But he is such a great puppy very loving and friendly.

Jackson is the more laid back one of the bunch. After he had his bath he just wanted to nap. He kept trying to close his eyes. I was like wake up and smile, did not get that to much. He also yawned alot. He is a very sweet puppy also.

Lola is the only girl left in this litter, she is a spunky one and really enjoys to play. She loves all the little toys and the plastic Easter eggs. She is very unique as one leg is mostly black. If you look at the first picture you can really see the leg.

Carma Latte and Coco Moco are beautiful little purebred Shih-tzus. They both have green eyes which is normal for the liver part of them. They both have very unique colors and have red noses. They are both starting to eat dry puppy food and starting to go out side to potty. They are almost 5 weeks old in these pictures.

Here is a gorgeous beautiful mostly black with a white chest female. Here name is Amika. She is such a character and she loved posing for pictures. She loves to cuddle also. To reserve your spot on our Shih-tzu waiting list, you can make a $200 deposit via the button below. Puppies will be chosen once individual puppy photos are taken and in the order deposits are received.

What comes with each puppy
Microchipped: We provide a folder with the puppy’s name and microchip Number. Each folder will have their vaccination and deworming record that is always up to date. Stapled to the folder will be their health certificate from our vet along with their rabies certificate (if puppy is old enough).
Health Records: Each puppy will have a complete health/vet exam from our veterinarian. The registration paper will be in this folder along with the microchip information. If the puppy is ACA or ICA registered you will receive 3 emails from them with instructions on what to do to name your puppy and put the microchip in your name.
Gift Box: Each puppy comes with a take home gift box that includes a toy, blanket, harness and leash, a collapsible water dish for traveling, a ziplock bag of their current puppy food, a 1.5 pound bag of the next step up food and then a sample pack in a folder with information and coupons.
Pet Food: We feed Nutri Source small/medium breed puppy food. We start out with the puppy started for them as they are learning to eat. It has powdered egg on the food and it entices them to eat. Each puppy takes home a ziplock bag of it.
Past Country Bumpkin Shih Tzu Puppies
At home with your new puppy:
Once you and your new puppy arrive at home, keep in mind that the puppy has had a stressful day.
He/she has left the only home they have known since birth. Some puppies adapt quick and fast and some are stressed for the first few days even a week. Be patient as they do adapt fairly quick. Just give them space and time to rest. Try not to take them out to meet new people and other dogs until they have received all of their vaccinations. It is for the best interest and health of your new puppy. My main thing that I worry about is making sure that they are eating and drinking once they arrive home. Sometimes they do not want to eat so just make sure that they drink water.
They are use to a doggy door to go outside at our facility. If you notice them going to a door, any door this is your first sign that they are looking for a place to go potty. Take them outside to their new area and introduce the puppy to where you would like them to go. It does take time and patience to learn a new system. We play country music in our kennel for the puppies to listen too.
Puppies love toys and things to chew on, try and have a variety of these available at all times.
Puppies are not use to being left alone on a couch so be sure and always put puppy on the floor if you are going out of the room. Shih Tzus are around 6 months of age or older before they learn to jump up on furniture. The jumping off is a scary thing the first time one does it, everyone gets a scared look.
